The Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP), under the leadership of Director and Institute Professor Maurizio Porfiri, includes faculty from nearly every department at NYU Tandon. Our interdisciplinary approach enables us to combine a range of disparate technologies which would be difficult to accomplish in a typical university department. We find synergies between research capabilities and provide students with a world-class experience, equipping them with a full breadth of skills to create change in cities.
