Shannon Werle (she/her) is the Marketing and Communications Manager at the Center for Urban Science and Progress, where she oversees the communication of faculty research as well as the Center’s activities, initiatives, and academic programs. In this role, she also cultivates and maintains partnerships between CUSP and its stakeholders across academia, industry, and government.
Before joining NYU, Shannon was the Assistant Director of Communications at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation where she managed both print and digital communications and edited the School’s annual Abstract publication. Her background also includes experience in several architecture firms.
Shannon received a Master of Arts in Digital Musics from Dartmouth College, Master of Engineering in Architecture from Tokyo Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
