Build a curious, engaged and inclusive global community
We will create an inclusive, engaged and interconnected global Tandon community. We will be transparent, inclusive, respectful and will operate based on facts and with the highest integrity. We will leverage NYU’s Global Network, and will engage our alumni, board, faculty, students, administrators and broader community to ensure our vision is driven by a variety of perspectives. We will be curiosity driven, fostering ideas and innovation.
We will implement policies and practices that ensure that Tandon Culture means a place of diversity, inclusion and respect. We will expand our successful Women in STEM strategy to other underrepresented minority groups. We will establish a committee on diversity and inclusion and work-life balance to look at ways the school can further improve and support all our students, faculty and staff.
We will create an engaged community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, board members and friends of Tandon. We will be transparent and frequent in our communications and strive to create a lifelong sense of belonging for our students starting on their first day.
