Mentor Program

The NYU Tandon Online Mentorship Program provides the perfect complement to prolong the support to incoming online students from the orientation week throughout their first semester at NYU.

Online Mentors are continuing online students who volunteer their time to welcome new students to our community. In the weeks leading up to the new semester, Tandon Online Mentors reach out to their mentees with helpful tips and suggestions on how to prepare for the online graduate program. They also share insight on how to succeed in an online learning environment during the course of your academic career at NYU.

New online students will be contacted during orientation to connect with a Tandon Online Mentor. After opting into this program, new students will be virtually introduced to their NYU Tandon Online Mentor by Luke Modzier, your Student Services Specialist, via email.
