Assessment, Accreditation, and Institutional Research (AAIR)
The core function of AAIR is to serve the NYU Tandon community by providing objective, research-based information, and analysis to support decision-making, planning, evaluation, and performance improvement.

In support of A2IR’s core function, the office also serves as the Tandon School of Engineering's primary source for all federal and state data, for coordination of accreditation processes, in addition to providing the information for all external surveys and maintaining a wide array of dynamic databases to support longitudinal studies and statistical analysis. A2IR supports the school’s overall performance measurement and assessment activities of its academic and administrative departments by collaborating with other offices to ensure the integrity and usability of its data and information resources.
