Metaverse for Education (GY)

This project-based course will form research team that focuses on the virtual educational environment using the metaverse platform and mixed reality technologies. In addition, the user can use any devices (mobile, Oculus...) to access this learning environment.


The team will research the following tasks:

  • Building the 3D model of the university classrooms and labs
  • Providing the platform that multiple users can use mobile devices or wearable equipment to access the virtual environment¬†
  • Designing the protocol for the hybrid learning mode that the in-person and virtual students can join and interact during the live lecture
  • Providing the tool that the instructor can use to design the AR models for the lectures.
