Senior Director, Operations & Administration
Ahmed Nassef serves as the senior leader for operations, facilities, and workplace services within the school’s administrative portfolio and is responsible for working collaboratively with faculty, university leadership, department chairs, program directors, staff, and external partners to strengthen operational effectiveness and strategic initiatives in support of the school’s long-term vision.
Before joining NYU, Ahmed directed facilities and operations at Columbia University, where he led space planning, operational transformation, capital project coordination, and cross-departmental service delivery across academic, research, and administrative environments.
Ahmed holds an MBA with a dual specialization in Management and International Business. He brings a deep commitment to service excellence, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative partnership, and continues to support institution-wide initiatives focused on workplace experience, operational continuity, and the alignment of operational strategy with academic mission.
