NYU Tandon Celebrates Alumni at Inaugural Summit
Fourteen alumni from 5 different departments honored for professional achievement, service, and innovation

NYU Tandon's first-ever Alumni Summit brought together engineering alumni, faculty, students, and school leadership for a day centered on innovation, community, and recognizing the accomplishments of graduates making an impact in their fields.
The event, themed Engineering, Technology & What's Next, was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the MakerSpace Event Space at Tandon's Brooklyn campus.
Executive Dean Juan de Pablo delivered a State of the School address, followed by lab tours, a faculty panel on the future of embodied intelligence, and an awards ceremony recognizing alumni from five academic departments who have distinguished themselves through professional achievement, service, and ongoing commitment to their fields and to the Tandon community.
