NYU Tandon Celebrates Alumni at Inaugural Summit

Fourteen alumni from 5 different departments honored for professional achievement, service, and innovation

NYU Tandon's first-ever Alumni Summit brought together engineering alumni, faculty, students, and school leadership for a day centered on innovation, community, and recognizing the accomplishments of graduates making an impact in their fields.

The event, themed Engineering, Technology & What's Next, was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the MakerSpace Event Space at Tandon's Brooklyn campus.

Executive Dean Juan de Pablo delivered a State of the School address, followed by lab tours, a faculty panel on the future of embodied intelligence, and an awards ceremony recognizing alumni from five academic departments who have distinguished themselves through professional achievement, service, and ongoing commitment to their fields and to the Tandon community.  

The alumni award recipients are:

Computer Science and Engineering Department

  • Channi Greenwall '20, '21, Founder and CEO, Olympix — Service to the Department Award
  • Daniel T. Guido '09, CEO and Co-Founder, Trail of Bits — Professional Achievement Award
  • Adam Klinger '21, Application Security Architect, LogicMonitor — Digital Learning Alumni Excellence Award


Technology Management and Innovation Department

  • Amy Batallones '19, Managing Director in the Technology and Innovations Group, Blackstone — Alumni Achievement Award
  • Elizmar Engel '12, Adjunct Professor in Technology Management and Innovation Department, NYU Tandon — Industrial Engineering Alumni Achievement Award
  • Anteneh Moges '16, '20, IT Service Management Analyst, NYU — Digital Learning Alumni Achievement Award
  • Andres Torres '16, Director, Prime Brokerage Risk, BNP Paribas — Business and Technology Management Alumni Achievement Award
