Elizmar (Eli) Engel is an accomplished operations leader and analytics expert with over a decade of experience driving large-scale strategic and technological transformations. Currently an Adjunct Professor in the Capstone program at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, she bridges the gap between theoretical industrial engineering and real-world business application.
Throughout her career, Elizmar has held pivotal leadership roles at industry-leading companies such as FreshDirect and Bark, where she specialized in building analytics functions from the ground up. Her expertise lies in translating complex data into actionable insights to enable scalable growth and sustained organizational impact. Notably, she has led multiple teams throughout her career and overseen analytics transformations for multimillion dollar inventory and real-estate portfolios.
In addition to her professional roles, Elizmar is a dedicated member of the NYU Tandon community, having served on the Industrial Engineering (IE) Alumni Advisory Board and as a coach for students in clubs such as the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) and the Tandon Consulting Club (TCC).
