NYU Center for Cybersecurity’s Cybersafety Research Center audited child safety tools on Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube, finding that 51 of 86 features were broken, buried, or missing, letting adults message teens and bypass restrictions on self-harm and eating disorder content.
