Training and Support
Mandatory Student Leader Orientation
At the start of their term, student club leaders from your organization must complete the Student Leader Orientation (SLO) training. Prior to the training, please review the Student Club & Organization Handbook. Failure to complete Student Leader Orientation by the semester's deadline will result in a suspension of club activities, including registering/holding events and spending initial allocation funds, until all required officers complete the training.
Student Leader Orientation is now VIRTUAL through NYU LMS (Brightspace). Each club is required to have at least four officers complete Student Leader Orientation. Clubs will receive instructions via email in early September on how to access and complete SLO.
Purchasing Card Training
All NEW student club presidents and treasurers must also complete the purchasing card training in order to use their club purchasing credit card. Purchasing Card Training is now part of the Student Leader Orientation course site on Brightspace.
