- Is admission into a NYU Tandon graduate degree program guaranteed after completing the Bridge program?
-
- NYU Tandon graduate applications receive a comprehensive review by our Graduate Admissions office. This holistic evaluation considers all application materials, including final Bridge certificates.
- Completing the Bridge program significantly enhances the readiness of applicants who previously lacked a technical background, equipping them with the necessary prerequisite skills to be eligible to apply for a STEM graduate degree program.
- However, it is important to note that successful completion of the Bridge program, or earning a certificate, does not guarantee admission into a graduate degree program.
- All Bridge students must go through the regular graduate application review process in order to receive an admission decision on their application.
- When am I eligible to apply for a master’s degree program?
-
For a complete list of our current year eligibility, please visit our Bridge to Master's page.
- When should I submit my master’s application?
-
Bridge students who wish to pursue a master’s degree need to submit their application by the regular graduate admission deadline for their desired start term. All application materials must be submitted by that published deadline, with the exception of your final Bridge certificate.
- The graduate application submission deadline is while I’m still enrolled in Bridge. How does this work?
-
All Bridge students who submit an application to a graduate degree program will have their graduate application withheld from review until the conclusion of the Bridge program. This ensures your final Bridge certificates are available and can be included as part of your graduate application as an additional credential.
- When can I expect to receive an admission decision on my graduate application?
-
Bridge students can expect to receive an admission decision on their graduate application about a month after final grades are received from the Bridge course instructors and can be included as part of the application.
- Outside of NYU, what other schools accept the Bridge certificate?
-
Bridge students are eligible to use their Bridge certificates at any of our Partner Institutions. It is important to note that each school offers different pathway programs and each have their own specific admission requirements that you must meet.
