Bio:

Ryan is a BS student at NYU Tandon currently studying towards his bachelors in Computer Engineering. Eager to explore the world beyond Beaufort, South Carolina, Ryan is driven by a desire to understand how engineers help shape and sustain the complex systems that make modern life possible. Due to his upbringing, being raised in a small town in the deep south, Ryan has made it a goal of his to further explore his cultural background and create connection to those similar to him in mind and body.

As a former research assistant to a graduate working in aerospace and computer engineering, Ryan actively challenges himself with the unfamiliar and is often working on finding more ways to apply himself in the Tandon community.

In his personal time, Ryan loves to read and sketch. He also loves spending time with his peers whether it be going out during his spare time or connecting with others online. Ryan loves to travel and learn about different cultures, not just their highlights, but also the everyday experiences of ordinary people. He seeks to understand the deeper differences between communities and what shapes them.
