Global Challenge: Bridging Gaps in Technology and Innovation

Bio:

Ruhi is an undergraduate student at NYU Tandon, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Computer Science. She was born in Australia but she has spent most of her life in Montgomery, New Jersey.

She is looking forward to contributing to the Applied Global Public Health Initiative (AGPHI) VIP team next semester where she hopes to learn about their approach towards helping and understanding major public health issues. She will also be an Orientation Leader at New Student Orientation, helping incoming first year students.

Over the last semester, she participated in the Creative Accessibility in Design VIP team, where she collaborated with the NYU Ability Project and the Poster House Museum to create tactile graphics. She is also a contributing photographer for the Washington Square News where she photographs NYU events, restaurants, museums and more around New York City.

Along with photography, she loves to spend her free time reading and trying new food in the city. She is excited to partake in the study abroad program and interested in exploring the Cybersecurity and Data Science/AI/Robotics Areas of Excellence, with a mathematical focus.
