Bio:
Riccardo is an engineering student at NYU Tandon, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics from the Courant Institute and a minor in Astronomy from the College of Arts & Science. Originally from Burano, a small island in the Venetian lagoon in Italy, he moved to New York at the age of 16 to follow his dream of studying abroad and exploring new cultures. Astonished by his experience in NYC, he chose to remain in the city and attend NYU for college.
From a very young age, Riccardo has been passionate about learning and inspiring other people to discover the same curiosity and joy to explore. He is currently an Admissions Ambassador at NYU, where he leads tours for prospective students and their families to help them in a crucial moment of life. He is also an Orientation Leader, a leadership figure who supports new first-year and transfer students in their transition to college life and NYU.
Driven by a deep belief in the power of education, Riccardo aspires to expand access to quality learning opportunities globally, ensuring that everyone can receive a good education. Through the GLASS program, he looks forward to immersing himself in new cultures and ideas, furthering his commitment to making education more inclusive and accessible worldwide.
