Global Challenge: Bridging gaps in wireless communication worldwide.

Bio:

Mohamed is an Electrical and Computer Engineering student looking to focus on wireless. Born and raised in New York, he has a deep love for the sense of community and diversity that are widespread throughout the city.

As a MakerSpace TA, Mohamed gets to learn to collaborate and help others with their engineering projects as well as be able to meet lots of people on campus. This role has given him the opportunity to learn more ways to problem solve like an engineer which is critical to all aspects of life.

Also involved in the VIP — Wireless 6G, Mohamed has been researching different ways to design and model calibration kits using HFSS, a 3D electromagnetic simulator. With this Mohamed plans to help the team achieve their goal of building a calibration kit for a highly advanced radio frequency (RF) which would make serious advancements in the wireless world.

In his day to day life, Mohamed is always moving around, whether that be playing soccer, hanging out with friends, or exploring a new food place. But, in the quieter moments, he enjoys binging shows and gaming.
