Bio:

Krish is currently a chemical and biomolecular engineering major at NYU Tandon with a minor in philosophy. He grew up in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, only two hours away from New York City. He is deeply interested in the intersection of engineering, sustainability, and law.

During his first year, Krish became a member of the Democracy Research Initiative at NYU—a VIP team. Throughout the year, he participated in student-led, original research surrounding the perspectives and environmental implications of a car-free New York City. In addition to his research, Krish also began volunteering for NYU SproutUp, where he taught first and second-grade students at NYC public schools about the importance of sustainability in their own lives. Becoming a part of the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity at NYU inspired him to pursue a summer internship at a law firm in his hometown, gaining exposure to the field.

Besides his passion for sustainability, Krish also enjoys traveling, working out, and trying new restaurants! He plans to run a half-marathon every semester in college. As he enters the GLASS program, he is most excited for the study abroad and commitment to service experiences.
