Bio:
Hana Sestakova is a sophomore Electrical Engineering student at NYU Tandon, originally from Bratislava, Slovakia. She currently works as an Office Assistant for Undergraduate Academics and previously served as Head of Programming for BallPal, a robotic ping pong ball collector project that earned the second place Nick Russo award. Hana is passionate about hands-on engineering and has experience with hardware integration, programming, and technical prototyping.
Through the GLASS program, Hana looks forward to deepening her understanding of how engineering can intersect with global equity and ethical development. Her global challenge focus centers on improving access to sustainable, community-focused technology. With a strong academic record and international perspective, she’s eager to collaborate with peers to create tangible, cross-cultural impact.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Hana enjoys drawing and digital art, often exploring the creative side of technology through visual storytelling and design.
