Bio:
I am a junior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I was born and raised in the quiet suburbs of San Jose, California, so New York is a real change of pace. Even after two years of living here I continue to be amazed by the vibrancy and diversity of the city.
On campus, I am a TA for the NYU MakerSpace where I help NYU students find their passion for building and innovation. I am also the team lead for the MakerSpace Equipment Team, keeping the machines in working order. I am the president of Theta Tau at NYU, a gender-inclusive professional engineering fraternity with a focus on service, professionalism, and brotherhood. Within GLASS I am a recruiter, helping to shape the next generation of global leaders to come out of NYU Tandon.
While I am still trying to figure out my specific career path, I am passionate about education and electronic communications. At their crossroads, I hope to use my degree to improve education around the world, with a focus on increasing access in underdeveloped countries.
