Devjoy is a Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. Candidate at the Ramadi Lab of Advanced Neuroengineering and Translational Medicine between NYU Tandon and NYU Abu Dhabi. His background spans across chronobiology, medical device design, biomedical imaging, and space health. He's interested in investigating how the regulation of sleep circuitry in the brain is connected to the gut through electrical stimulation techniques and is exploring the impactful effects of microgravity on sleep at the cellular level. He has won multiple research pitch competitions with his work.
Devjoy was a Research Scholar at Harvard Medical School, after which he graduated with his master’s degree from Imperial College London, UK. Outside the lab, he's a keen rower, reader, and hackathon participant, having previously won the MIT Grand Hack and Harvard iGEM BioHackathon.
