Global Challenge: Affordable clean energy

Bio:

Aimee is a junior studying Electrical Engineering and minoring in Integrated Design and Media at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.She is originally from the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, but over the past year she has grown to love the diverse and fast paced city of New York. She is passionate about sustainability and clean energy as well as the intersection between art and engineering.

At NYU, she is a TA for the NYU MakerSpace where she has had to opportunity to collaborate with her peers and give trainings on different machines. She also servers at treasurer of both IEEE and Theta Tau at NYU. This past summer she interned at Cognito Theraputics, learning about design testing and writing protocols. Aimee previously worked as a STEM Specialist of an elementary summer camp program, where she has had the opportunity to help children discover their own interests and passion within the STEM field.

She spent her sophomore spring at NYU Paris, immersing herself in the culture and city. She hopes to apply her knowledge to global issues like clean and affordable energy in the future.

Outside of school, she enjoys running, ceramics, painting, and thrifting. Feel free to say hello anytime!
