Bio:
Aimee is a sophomore studying Electrical Engineering and minoring in Integrated Design and Media at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. She is originally from the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, but over the past year she has grown to love the diverse and fast paced city of New York. She is passionate about sustainability and clean energy as well as the intersection between art and engineering.
At NYU, she is a TA for the NYU MakerSpace where she has had to opportunity to collaborate with her peers and give trainings on different machines. She is also a member of NYU’s NASA Student Launch Competition team, Rogue Aerospace, where she has worked on the payload and electronics teams. She is also a part of NYU’s engineering fraternity, Theta Tau, where she is a fundraising and PR chair. Outside of Tandon, she is part of WNYU Radio where she is a sound engineer. Over this past summer, she has been working as the STEM Specialist of an elementary summer camp program, where she has had the opportunity to help children discover their own interests and passion within the STEM field.
Outside of School, she enjoys running, ceramics, painting, and thrifting. Feel free to say hello anytime!
