Senior Director, Campus Planning and Technical Services
Maey Khaled is a senior leader in campus planning, research infrastructure, and technical operations with over two decades of experience across higher education, engineering design, and construction management. As Senior Director of Campus Planning & Technical Services at NYU Tandon, she leads capital planning, technical support development, and strategic facilities initiatives supporting more than 1.1 million square feet of academic and research space.
Maey joined NYU in 2013 as a Senior Project Manager and later served as Director of Technical Services & Facility Planning before assuming her current leadership role. Her earlier career included roles as an engineering design consultant and as a construction project engineer, where she managed complex infrastructure projects for institutional clients across New York City.
She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University and brings a unique combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and institutional insight in support Tandon’s long-term strategic goals.
Maey is passionate about creating a safe, efficient, and inspiring learning environment, continually seeking new ways to improve the experiences of students, faculty, and staff at NYU Tandon.
