Update Web Pages/Add Events
The School of Engineering website is built on a content management system (CMS) that lets approved users (generally faculty and staff) edit and create web pages. There are a couple ways you can edit and maintain web pages:
- Correct one-off errors or have updates made: Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the URL of the page and an explanation of the edit that needs to be made.
- Get direct access to make changes: Contact email@example.com if you need a web account created/activated. After logging in, you may edit pages and request to have them reviewed and published by the web team by emailing us with the urls of the edited pages.

Please contact the web team before creating brand new pages.
After the transition period of phasing in the new web design is complete, designated web publishers will be established for each department/unit to take over the review and publishing role. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns.

The web team has a template built in WordPress which can be used as a website for faculty research groups or labs. It is a responsive design that contains proper NYU Branding built in. View the template
