Collaborating with the NYU Ability Project and NYU Dentistry to study the challenges of deploying and maintaining assistive technologies

Students work with the NYU Ability Project on established projects and evaluate, document, complete, and/or repair assistive technologies in everyday use. The process involves developing and applying skills in software, hardware, communication, and/or digital fabrication; identifying solutions to hindrances in accessibility, usability, and durability; as well as iteratively improving existing solutions.
