The team will use data provided by UNICEF country and field offices in Myanmar and Bangladesh to design innovative and human-centered interventions to address the urgent health needs of the Rohingya population. It is meant to teach students how to clean data, use descriptive statistics and data visualization to propose effective and sustainable interventions to address pressing health challenges in complex settings.

This project-based course will form interdisciplinary teams to take an innovative, data-driven  approach to understand and improve the health of the highly complex Rohingya population in and out of Myanmar. This VIP course will coordinate with the NYU College of Global Public Health and UNICEF.
