Schmidt Sciences Names 28 AI2050 Fellows Tackling the Defining AI Challenges of Our Time
Assistant Professor Juan Carlos Perdomo, who holds appointments at NYU Tandon and at NYU's Center for Data Science, was named a 2026 AI2050 Early Career Fellow. He is one of 28 researchers in the program's fifth cohort, which will receive up to $16 million over three years to tackle hard problems in AI.
