NYU Tandon's high-tech showcase returns to Downtown Brooklyn

The 2024 Tandon Research Excellence Exhibit showcased a wide range of innovative student projects, including humanoid robots that can maintain balance, an adaptive mountain bike to help disabled riders access nature, zero-carbon concrete alternatives, cybersecurity projects, and medical devices. The exhibit highlighted Vertically Integrated Projects where students from different disciplines collaborated, mimicking real-world environments. Award-winning projects included a TITAN rover by the Robotic Design Team, soft robotics for mobility assistance, zero-cement concrete, hydrogel for heavy metal remediation, inclusive virtual reality experiences, and computer vision for building facade inspections.
