NYU researchers paving new path for robotics

NYU Tandon is on the eve of launching a new robotics initiative, lead by NYU CUSP and NYU WIRELESS members Giuseppe Loianno, S. Farokh Atashzar, Ludovic Righetti, and NYU CUSP member Chen Feng. This initiative promises to take a unique approach to both research and teaching as engineering and academic disciplines, and build upon decades of robotics at the school.

In their own ways, whether it be helping the medical field or applying concepts in robot autonomy, all four of these researchers aspire to better help the community in some way; Loianno adds that this initiative's "approach [in] research and education can impact the next 10 years of robotics."
