Las empresas ponen topes a la IA ante la explosión del gasto
As companies confront rapidly rising costs from AI systems that can perform complex tasks autonomously, Professor Quanyan Zhu questioned the industry's reliance on token consumption as a measure of value. Zhu, who has studied the economics of AI tokens, compared current pricing systems to evaluating employees by how much time they spend in the office rather than what they accomplish. He suggested that pricing may increasingly shift toward completed tasks and measurable outcomes, allowing companies to assess the business value generated by AI rather than simply paying for computing activity.
