Visiting Research Professor Ngoc Cindy Pham, also of Brooklyn College, wrote that a workshop series pairing NYU Tandon and CUNY students found that engagement, not school affiliation, predicted whether students went on to build something with AI: 21 percent of students who attended one or two sessions did, compared with 56 percent of those who attended six or more.
