^*What is Key-art?

Key-art is any art and/or photography, created or curated, that reflects the mission, campaigns, or initiatives of a department. These graphics are not logos, rather, they are graphics or photos that visually demonstrate or enhance the text/copy of your units information and collateral across email, web, social, and print.

Photography is a compelling tool for portraying our community’s vibrant and innovative nature.

• Tandon Photo Repository: Search our image library and download photos.
• Media Release Form: Use this form when photographing or recording individuals for NYU promotional use.
• Audience Release Signage: Post this form in locations where you plan on recording or taking photos of an event or area.

Icons

An icon is a simplified, easily recognized symbol used to represent concepts, actions, or categories. Designed to convey information quickly and clearly, icons are helpful tools for effective communication.

We are working on building an icon set for use by Tandon units in print and web communications. For assistance with selecting appropriate icons for your project, contact engineering.creative@nyu.edu.

Video

Video is ubiquitous and an important part of our communications strategy. The Marketing and Communications Department can assist you with video projects in a variety of ways:

• provide general b-roll and/or images for your video projects
• provide a videographer for certain events or projects
• suggest outside videographers when needed
