Ian Dupont is an adjunct professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department teaching offensive cybersecurity. His cyber journey started at NYU in the Bridge to Tandon Program and continued as a MSc Cybersecurity student. Ian is now a Senior Security Researcher at the NYC-based boutique research firm Margin Research. His experience spans dynamic tooling development, reverse engineering, and exploit development for various systems, including embedded, IoT, and mobile. Ian was a Construction Manager prior to pivoting to offensive cybersecurity and now finds catharsis in the deconstruction of computer systems.
