Prof. Parisi

You are invited to attend a special seminar by Nobel Laureate Dr. Giorgio Parisi (Rome I University La Sapienza).

Dr. Parisi is a pioneering physicist renowned for his work on complex systems and statistical physics. His research has profoundly influenced fields ranging from physics to biology and the social sciences, offering deep insights into how large networks of interacting components—such as starlings in flight or neurons in the brain—organize and behave collectively.

The program will feature the seminar “In a Flight of Starlings: The Wonders of Complex Systems,” presented by Dr. Parisi, followed by a fireside chat with Prof. Erio Tosatti (SISSA & ICTP, Trieste) and Prof. Elisa Riedo (NYU Tandon).
