For years, women have excelled in the industry of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), but their journey brings about challenges with overall well-being that is often ignored and not prioritized. From 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, join the Office of Student Life and Services as we explore methods of tackling burnout, decreasing stress and anxiety and promoting mental health awareness in an effort to live healthier, well-rounded lives now and moving forward.

This conversation will feature some of the brilliant minds and advocates at NYU such as:

  • Counseling and Wellness Services Clinical Psychologist II, Dr. Jiyoon Lee
  • Director of Tandon Career Hub, Dr. Candace Lamb
  • Private Equity Process Engineer at Bloomberg LP and NYU Tandon Technology Management Graduate Student, Laneika Lyons-Payne
  • Steinhardt Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness Master's Student, Sanjana Ramaseshan
  • Masters in Public Health Student at the school of Global Public Health, Matilda Melkonian

Refreshments will be served during our pre-reception from 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm and the program will begin shortly after. One lucky attendee will also have the chance to take home a PLAYSTATION 5!
