Structuring Your Gradebook in NYU Brightspace
Your NYU Brightspace course site can be used to collect student work, assess student comprehension, track student progress and communicate grades. This hands-on training workshop will demonstrate how to develop a robust gradebook.
In this hands-on workshop, you will be able to:
- Use the setup wizard to structure the gradebook
- Apply grading schemes
- Adjust gradebook settings
- Create and organize grade items
- Transfer midterm and final grades to Albert
The following materials are recommended for you to bring digitally to the workshop:

Throughout the workshop, faculty and staff will participate in individual learning activities to explore, practice and apply newly acquired knowledge and skills. Additionally, attendees will be provided with the opportunity to demonstrate their progress, share ideas and ask questions about effective ways to use tools for assessing comprehension on the platform.
