Information for Employers:
Employers looking to recruit interns/coops and entry-level candidates are invited to the NYU Tandon School of Engineering Spring 2019 Career Fair. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 8, 2019 at CityPoint in Brooklyn. All NYU Tandon students (undergraduates and graduates) will be invited to attend the event. The Spring 2019 Career Fair will feature companies looking to engage with and possibly hire NYU Tandon students for internships, co-ops and/or full-time roles. This event is an excellent way to build your brand on campus and target talent for current and future opportunities.
This event provides NYU Tandon students with an opportunity to meet with representatives from your organization to learn more about your products/services, possible job opportunities, and insight into careers in your industry. Students are encouraged to bring their resumes and you can use this opportunity to do resume screenings for your positions. The event is FREE but space is limited.
Below are some logistics and details for planning purposes:
Location: The event will be held at City Point in Downtown Brooklyn. Subway access is conveniently located in the building and parking is available nearby.
Date and time: Friday, March 8, 2019 from 10:30am-4:30pm.
Diversity Students Session: A special (optional) Backstage Session from 9:30-10:30am will be organized for employers interested in meeting with students from underrepresented/minority groups, women in STEM and first-generation college students. Students will have an opportunity to learn tips from recruiters about networking, job search, etc.
Setup: Employers will have one 6 feet long table with two chairs (max two reps). Please bring your table cover, banner and/or any other handouts or swag.
