Born in China, George emigrated to the US at age 16 and earned his Bachelors and then Masters degrees from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU (now Tandon). George is the founder and President of the Century Development Group (http://www.centurygroupdevelopment.com/), an integrated real estate development company based in Flushing, Queens. With nearly 20 years of relevant experience, he has built more than a million square feet of real estate and mixed-use development, including residential, hospitality, office, and retail spaces. George’s project assets thus far are valued at over $658 million and have created over 10,000 jobs in the NYC economy. He has participated in all phases – assembly, acquisition, finance, design, construction, marketing, and sales – and his projects have involved close collaboration with the City of New York and the State of New York on zoning, land use, and environmental matters. In recent years, Mr. Xu expanded his business to include the EB5 international investor's immigration program, and he is the founder and principal of the Flushing-based Century New York City Regional Center (http://www.centurynyceb5.com/), where he provides crucial marketing oversight and policy guidance. His team has successfully raised capital with a 100% approval rate for four projects and is now recruiting EB5 investors from around the world for its fifth and sixth projects.
