CIE I-Corps InfoSession 2

Workshop / Training

For NYU Community

If you ever have wondered how entrepreneurship can make a positive impact on the world, the CIE I-Corps summer program might be for you. Space is limited, so please use the Eventbrite signup (https://goo.gl/LrdkZS).

This program will use the Lean LaunchPad methodology to show you how to develop an idea into a viable commercial product and commercialize it. Pending funding from the National Science Foundation, participants will also learn how the skills learned through entrepreneurship can make them better scientists or engineers.

Current NYU undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to participate in this program. The first step in applying is to indicate your interest and your preliminary ideas, which you can do with our online form (https://goo.gl/CC0VHp). Even if you cannot make it to one of the infosessions, you may still register your interest in applying and receive further information.

The institute is committed to improving diversity in STEM entrepreneurship, so women and students of color are encouraged to apply. A portion of the institute program during the summer will be devoted to understanding the challenges and overcoming the obstacles to diversity. The program is sponsored by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Institute and managed at the Tandon School of Engineering.
