Southeastern Florida-based alumni,
Join us for a 2 hour sightseeing cruise on the Intercoastal Waterway with Delray Yacht Cruises followed by lunch at a terrific beachside restaurant, 50 Ocean, at Delray Beach.
Our day will begin at 10 a.m. when we meet at The Delray Yacht Cruises pier. Free parking is available in the town parking area adjacent to the pier at Veterans Park.
After the cruise, at approximately 12:45 p.m., we will regroup at 50 Ocean for lunch. You'll be able to drive there from the pier and park. We've made arrangements to have free valet parking available for our group. Lunch will include a choice of burgers, sandwiches, salads, beverages and desserts.
After lunch we’ll hear from representatives from the Alumni Office and from a guest speaker from the NYU faculty. We will also be discussing STEM related volunteer opportunities that we’ve identified at both Broward and Palm Beach county public schools.
You are more than welcome and encouraged to bring a guest. The cost for the sightseeing tour and lunch is $50 per person.
Activities should be over by 3 p.m. and you'll be able to head to the beach or stroll through downtown Delray Beach.
