A Talk with Eugene Kaspersky

Lecture / Panel

For NYU Community

Tomorrow morning, NYU-Poly Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) will host an international figure of renown in the security field and beyond: Eugene Kaspersky.  For anyone fascinated by entrepreneurship, leadership, engineering, or Kaspersky Lab’s role in uncovering cyber warfare threats, the chance to hear Eugene Kaspersky will be a rare opportunity that should not be missed.  He’ll return tomorrow at about 3 p.m. for a Q&A.

Because we know that the day will begin well before students start their day, we’ll be giving away an iPad mini.  You don’t have to be a student to win, but you do have to pick up a raffle ticket at the door of Pfizer before 9 a.m.  The iPad mini will be raffled about 10 a.m., and you must be present to win.

And do stop by the CSAW challenges all day tomorrow in the gym – they’re open to everyone.  Come back again Saturday to see Capture the Flag contestants close out 36 hours of the world’s biggest CTF event, the Homeland Security Quiz Challenge in Pfizer, and the awards ceremony.
