ENGINEERING THE FUTURE

You are invited to join NYU-Poly for a four-week summer course: Introduction to Engineering, a program that enables aspiring engineers to develop their technical skills through traditional classroom learning and exciting, hands-on projects. 

MORE ABOUT AN INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING

Learn about the various engineering disciplines of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and computer engineering. This is a fun hands-on course that will help you be creative and innovative in building robots and other engineering projects through a project based curriculum.

THE CURRICULUM

Over a period of four weeks, you will be exposed to four exciting engineering disciplines with a strong emphasis in technical communication, both verbal and written. Classes begin Monday, July 16th and end on Friday, August 10th. Classes meet for lab on Monday and Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., and Tuesdays and Fridays for recitation, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Optional lectures (offered for different disciplines) can be attended on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. 

COURSE PRICE

The reduced price for this four-week summer class is $600.00.
