The cloud is taking the world of IT by storm. At one extreme, some analysts suggest that it is overhyped; at the other, it has been suggested that all IT will come to reside in the cloud. Joe Weinman, creator of the field of “Cloudonomics”, will preview insights from his forth-coming book, using a variety of technical disciplines, strategy, and economics to try to derive predictions regarding how the cloud ecosystem will unfold.
