All Poly Alumni are invited to join us for a casual after work reception with Department Head and Computer Science & Engineering Professor Keith Ross. Poly alumnus Allan Kleinman ('66 EE) and his wife, Joan, will be hosting the event at their beach house in La Jolla.
Keith Ross, the Leonard J. Shustek Chair in Computer Science (2003), professor and department head (as of 2008) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, is an international expert in peer-to-peer networking and video streaming. Professor Ross will talk about his Skype and Facebook research, which has been featured in the NYT, NPR marketplace, and many other places:
