ISIS Alumni Gathering at Cyber Security Awareness Week

Academic

For NYU Community

Alumni are invited to join us at NYU-Poly's 8th annual Cyber Security Awareness Week (or CSAW, pronounced see-saw) for a special gathering of alumni.

CSAW brings 400 of the nation’s top cybersecurity scholars, high school students and international professionals to campus November 10-11, 2011. It is one of the biggest student events of NYU-Poly’s academic year – and it is also one of the broadest and biggest student cybersecurity competitions in the world.

This year, we hope to bring together our former classmates and alumni colleagues during the opening reception and Keynote presentation.  It will be a great opportunity to learn more about the amazing work being done at Poly around Cyber Security and STEM education, but more importantly it will be an opportunity for us to reconnect, network and reminisce about our times at Polytechnic.

The reception will feature a keynote presentation by Mr. Peiter ‘Mudge’ Zatko,  Program Manager, DARPA. Following the reception, we are planning a casual alumni outing to a local Brooklyn hot spot, for those who are able to join us - details will be provided at the reception.
