About Suong Ives:
Suong Ives became the Human Resources Director for NYU Poly in January 2010. She has over 20 years of experience in heading the Human Resources functions for Global 100 companies, include serving as the HR Director for a Division of Time Warner, the Director of Organization Effectiveness for AT&T, and the VP of HR for Orange – a Division of France Telecom. Prior to joining Poly, she was the head of HR for the Defense Division of Danaher – a global manufacturing conglomerate . Danaher has been repeated named by Forbes Magazine as one of the World 100 Best Managed Companies.
She have bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering and Business Administration and Masters in Human Resources Management. She hopes to provide our students with a honest-to-goodness view of candidates, especially engineering and technology candidates, from the corporate recruiters and HR’s perspectives.
