Tandon faculty, administrators/staff can submit requests using the Virtual Event Management System (VEMS). Refer to Submit a Request for further guidance.
Tandon OSL&E Student Clubs and Organizations
Student clubs and organizations recognized by the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement should complete the event request form on NYU Engage.
Non-Tandon OSL&E Student Clubs and Organizations
Student groups recognized by a Tandon academic department, another NYU school, or the Center for Student Life should complete the Brooklyn Event Request Form for non-Tandon OSL&E Clubs on NYU Engage.
Broader NYU & External Groups
As Tandon event and meeting space resources are limited, we prioritize accommodating Tandon community-centered activities and events.
If you are a faculty or administrator from another NYU school or are external to NYU, a Tandon sponsor is required to utilize Tandon event spaces. An event sponsor is a faculty or administrator whose associated department or group has agreed to partner with an external party on a given event or meeting.
Refer to the Knowledge Base for more information.
Setups
Setup Work Orders
Event Services submits setup work orders on behalf of the event organizer for Tandon-managed event spaces. Work orders are scheduled through NYU Client Services Center (CSC) and executed by Collins Building Services (CBS).
Setup details are collected at the time of booking through VEMS. All event setup needs must be finalized no later than one (1) week prior to the event.
Setup work orders generate a unique work order task (WOT) number upon submission to Client Services. The WOT number will be emailed to you as a confirmation from Event Services and also added to your reservation booking in VEMS. The WOT number will be used as reference if any issues need to be addressed with Client Services and CBS.
