First Year Experience
You have made an excellent choice to attend the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
Our first year experience programs are here to support you as you transition into university life here in Brooklyn!
Attention NEW students! Welcome Week just ended, classes are beginning, and it feels like all the information you learned during Orientation just went over your head. Well, don’t worry – that’s where LAUNCH comes in! The purpose of LAUNCH is to prepare our first-year and transfer student communities to successfully launch their Tandon journey. The program spans the crucial first six weeks of the semester and is setup to be drop-in style, so you can come to one program or all ten!
LAUNCH sessions are one-hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-1:30pm in the MakerSpace Foyer (Rogers Hall, 1st Floor) and are open to ALL NEW STUDENTS. Stop by for a few minutes or spend the hour getting to know more about Tandon - snacks, giveaways, and activities included!
