Applying to an NYU Tandon Master’s Degree from Bridge

The 100% online NYU Tandon Bridge course is recommended to those interested in applying for one of our select Master's Degrees who are lacking a technical background. The Bridge equips students with the criteria needed to become eligible to apply for selected Master’s programs.

The Bridge curriculum is designed to cover all of the entrance requirements for our select Master’s degree programs. Therefore, your Certificate of Completion from the course can signal your preparedness for a Master’s degree, even if you have no prior formal background. Performing well in the Bridge course can significantly increase your chances of admission.

Note that Master’s applications are reviewed on a holistic basis, taking into consideration not only the grade received in the Bridge course, but all other application materials including your resume/CV, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and transcript/s.

Bridge students may apply by submitting a formal Master’s Degree application to the term indicated in the calendar above while they are enrolled in the Bridge by the relevant MS application deadline and submit all application materials. Students’ MS applications will be put on hold until the Bridge course has completed and grades have been distributed.

Bridge students may elect not to submit their GRE scores. Bridge students who wish to submit their GRE as part of their Master’s application, must do so prior to the end of the Bridge course.
