Applying to an NYU Tandon Master’s Degree from Bridge

The 100% online NYU Bridge to Tandon course is recommended to those interested in applying for one of our select Master's Degrees who are lacking a background in science or engineering.

The Bridge is a single course equivalent to 400 hours of learning and more than 3 courses containing topics in Computer Programming in C++, Object Oriented Design, Discrete Math, Data Structures and Algorithms, Principles of Operating Systems, and Introduction to Computer Networks.

If you have a degree in liberal arts or similar, the Bridge program will provide you with the tools needed to upgrade your math, science or engineering knowledge for consideration to a selection of master’s degrees at the School of Engineering.

Students admitted to the Bridge course may qualify for graduate-level study following their Bridge program, and must submit a formal Master’s application in order to be considered for admission. Students who receive admission to one of the select MS programs following the Bridge will have their GRE waived.

Master’s Application Fee Waiver

Current Bridge students and alumni should email tandon.online@nyu.edu to receive a Master’s application fee waiver code when they plan to apply. There is no fee required to apply to CUSP.
