What attracted you to this program?
My passion for cybersecurity, ignited during my undergraduate studies, led me to the NYU Cyber Fellows program. The program's reputation, flexibility, affordability, and diverse learning environment, with its mix of industry experts and peers from various fields, solidified my decision.
What is your favorite class you've taken so far in the program, and why?
The Network Security class with Dr. Mak was by far my favorite; it was both informative and fun, and the labs provided hands-on experience, specifically teaching me to think like an attacker and find loopholes in a network.
Dr. Cappos' research has particularly inspired me, since I have done some previous research on software supply chain security. He has pioneered many ways to safeguard our software supply chain, and his projects, in-toto and SBOMit, are used by many organizations.
What advice would you give to someone considering a Digital Learning Master's program at Tandon?
It's fun, exciting, and truly what you make of it! With a strong network of students, alumni, and faculty, there's nothing to fear. The program offers a supportive community and exciting opportunities for all.
