Program: Bioinformatics, M.S.

Current City: Gainesville, FL

Expected Graduation Date: Summer 2025

Favorite Class: My favorite class so far has been the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) course because of the hands-on coursework. I had the opportunity to work with real data and even create my own project as my final paper for the course. It was a great experience to apply what I learned directly to a meaningful project, making the class both challenging and rewarding

Favorite Class: My favorite class I've taken so far has been Game Design within the Computer Science department (taken on campus). This has been my favorite because it was the most demanding and rewarding. Program: Cybersecurity, M.S. (NYU Cyber Fellow)

Current City: Blaine, MN

Expected Graduation Date: May 2025

Favorite Class: I enjoyed network security, which was a big mystery to me before I took this class. I had low confidence when I started, thinking I knew so little and didn't know where to begin to gain knowledge. I even thought I would fail miserably. The professor and TAs provided great encouragement, patiently answering my questions and guiding me through the class little by little. I realized that as long as I put in the effort, I can conquer the topic and achieve great results. I learned so much. It was hard, but truly rewarding and enjoyable.
